William Walden is the vice president of the United States and former director of the CIA. He approaches Nicholas Brody with an offer to run for the U.S. House of Representatives to replace a disgraced politician, a move that will also assist his own candidacy for president.
However, Walden is also the chief target of Abu Nazir's terrorist operationm in retaliation for a 2009 drone strike that killed Nazir's young son.
