William Walden (– 2012) was the Vice President of the United States and former director of the CIA. He approached Nicholas Brody with an offer to run for the U.S. House of Representatives to replace a disgraced politician, a move that will also assist his own candidacy for president.
However, Walden is also the chief target of Abu Nazir's terrorist operation in retaliation for a 2009 drone strike that killed Nazir's young son. Brody is ironically the man that was assigned with the task of assassinating Walden.
Congressman Brody is also Walden's choice for a running mate when he runs for President of the United States of America.
