"Brody is a scam! He lies and doesn't even feel like he's lying." — WAKEFIELD, Lauder

Lauder Wakefield is a disabled, alcoholic ex-Marine who served in the same platoon as Nicholas Brody, Tom Walker, and Mike Faber.

Biography[]

He is a former Marine. When Brody returns, Lauder is antagonistic towards him. Wakefield seems to understand the mind of Nicholas Brody, in both Brody's motives and his actions.

He comes to suspect that Brody was involved in the death of Tom Walker because Sgt. Brody didn’t seem to give a shit that his best friend and former partner became a terrorist and murdered a bunch of people. That is hella suspicious.

Most notably, Wakefield was the one responsible for putting Brody on the 'chopping block' for working together with Abu Nazir, through contact with Mike Faber in discovering who was truly behind the murder of Tom Walker.

Quotes[]

"When exactly, Wild Brody, turned into a war bastard..." - Lauder

Trivia[]

Wakefield Lauder refer to the character as WILD Brody because Nick used to own a large number of exotic pets, hence the nickname “Wild Man Brody.”
