Allison Carr was the CIA station chief in Berlin and also led a double life as a Russian intelligence assett. She was portrayed by Miranda Otto.
Biography
Carr had previously worked with Saul Berenson. She also served as Carrie Matheson's predecessor as station chief in Baghdad.
During her tenure in Berlin, she demanded that Saul be removed from the station, believing him responsible for the leak of classified documents.
At one point, the Israeli ambassador to Berlin learns of Saul's plan to float Syrian general Yousef Tirani as a possible successor in the case of Bashar al-Assad being removed from power. She and Saul are present when Yousef's plane is bombed; Carr at first suspects that the Israelis orchestrated the hit, although Saul believes the Russians are responsible.
Carrie Matheson eventually discovers that Carr is the mole, due to her meetings with Russian intelligence officerIvan Krupin. Carrie and Saul reluctantly decide to let German itnelligence in on the situation; CIA and BnD orchestrate a plan to tap Carr's phone and purse. Saul does so. When Dar confronts Carr about his suspicions, she claims that Krupin is an asset she recruited.
When an ISIS cell attempted a chemical attack on Berlin, it encountered problems with its detonator and requested that Dr. Aziz, one of the members, fix it. When the Germans arrest Aziz, Carr tracks him down and demands to know what the target is. When Aziz replies that it is the Berlin airport, Carr kills him and her CIA security officer. Carr later makes her way to the airport, with the intention of escaping to Russia by plane. On the way there, CIA paramilitary officers acting on Saul's orders ambush the car and kill Carr, who has been hiding in the trunk.
